ABOUT EDDIE CONNICK
There is only one way to describe Eddie. He is an achiever, no matter the task or assignment he is given. Eddie is a relentless optimist with a can-do spirit. He believes government can serve citizens better, and he is ready to prove just how. After 23 years in the medical and health services industry, Edwin “Eddie” Connick will leave the industry as a top executive eager to use his business acumen to move Louisiana forward.

Eddie is a graduate of Boston College where he earned a degree in Finance. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University in August of 1988. Aside from a short stint with HRI Properties, where he helped convert blighted housing into affordable living for families of faith, Eddie dedicated most of his professional life to promoting advancements in medicine. His work with doctors led to millions of dollars in medical upgrades to make patient care more efficient and effective.

Eddie Connick is a pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment conservative who believes individual liberties must be protected. As a State Representative, he will work to cut bureaucracy, curb taxes, strengthen pre-K and K-12 education especially by promoting accountability, and he will be a champion for helping small businesses prosper by cutting red tape and lessening their burden from unnecessary taxation. He has the courage to stand up and fight for the neighborhoods in his district, especially when it comes to flood protection, crime-fighting resources and upgrades to aging infrastructure.

With that rare ability to make a friend of everyone he meets, Eddie Connick is enthusiastically looking forward to using his skills, intellect and compassion for others to draft laws that improve every constituent’s quality of life. In a district that has spawned impressive leaders, Eddie Connick is determined to make a difference for us all as State Representative.
